There is no doubt when you walk in that both music and football are high on the list of priorities. (Julian being an avid music and Arsenal fan!) The pubs popularity is definately down to the balanced attitude of Julian who has a way of making everyone feel welcome and at home in his environment. Run with great man management skills all the bar staff are positive, helpful, polite but above all strong in personality. It is a testiment to this situation, that the regular numbers seem to continue to increase creating an almost family atmosphere in what can safely be described as one of the few 'real' pubs left in London. No sterility here! For all you smokers out there- Julian has created a fantastic courtyard area out the back which extends the great atmosphere of the Hare into the wild outdoors! For two years The HareE2 Jazz Club has added another dimension to the success of the pub. The quality of Jazz available every Sunday night has added another string to the pub's bow.
