7th February 2010.........................................Timeline

Timeline have been the Hare house band now for the last 2 years. Over that time they have tried to constantly strive to improve the musical experience for both audience and player through adding as much variety of repertoire and instrumentation as possible to their sets.
The line up tonight is Kelvin Christiane-saxes, Dave Warren-guitar, David McLeod-bass and Noel Joyce-drums.


14th February 2010......................Dominic Howles-bass

After graduating from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama Dominic came to prominence as a member of the Tommy Chase Quartet.
He has now worked with many major jazz names including Stacey Kent, Stan Sulzman, Alan Skidmore and Tim Whitehead amongst many others!
The line up tonight is Dominic Howles-bass, Gareth Lochrane-flutes, Nick Tomalin-piano, Noel Joyce-drums.


21st February 2010………….Will Collier Septet

The Will Collier Septet has been playing on the London circuit for the past four years, steadily building a following with their grooving, highly melodic originals drawing on the likes of The Bad Plus, Dave Holland and the Tin Hat Trio. Their exceptional debut recording, 'Everybody Loves the Will Collier Septet', was released on the F-IRE record label in 2008.

28th February 2010………….Dave Frankel -piano

Early signs of musicality led to classical piano lessons and later a music degree at Leeds University. Though exposed from an early age to the sounds of Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, George Shearing and Ramsey Lewis through his parents' record collection Dave displayed a fierce resistance to improvising until he heard Bill Evans for the first time.
Dave has worked with the likes of Mark Ramsden, Pat Crumly, Paul Cavaciuti and Mark Bassey,amongst many others!
Dave also teaches jazz keyboard skills at the Guildhall, and is an examiner for the Associated Board's jazz syllabus.
Also we welcome for the first time a visit from the wonderful trumpeter Martin Shaw, whose credits encompass the who’s who of the British jazz scene!
The line up tonight is Dave Frankel-piano, Martin Shaw-trumpet, Julie Walkington-bass, Noel Joyce-drums.
