10th Feb 2008 ...................................Anton Browne-vocals
Anton
Browne is a working singer in the soul/jazz/blues field. Anton set up the BTEC
singing course at the music industry's BRIT School in '91 and he continues to
work with the talented young singers that the school attracts. He also works
with degree students at Goldsmiths College, University of London and is pleased
to have acquired a Jazz Voice teaching post at Trinity College of Music.
2003 brought the launch of the ground-breaking Popular Music Vocals singing grades, Anton wrote the syllabus in conjunction with Tony Skinner for The London College of Music. 2004/5 sees Anton working with students at Roehampton University and singing with the Back to Basie Orchestra, festivals and concerts and vocalist for Pete Long's outrageous Gillespiana a 20 piece be-bop orchestra.
2006/7 sees Anton writing the BTEC singing technique module for The Academy of Music and Sound and very busy singing with The Len Phillips Big Band.

Schura is a london based jazz singer and singer songwriter drawing on influences
from Peggy
Lee, Anita O'Day, John Martyn and Joni Mitchell. Supporting

Nico Sabatini started his professional career as a rock and pop guitarist in his late teens and soon expanded his horizons to jazz and classical music. He has worked as a demonstrator for Yamaha Guitars, played with international artists such as Gregg Bissonette and supported Metallica.
He composed music for Italian cinema and tv and since moving to London from his native Italy in 1997, he studied composition at the Birkbeck College and obtained a postgraduate diploma in Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music.At present he is playing Caberet in the West End.
The line up tonight is Nico Sabatini-guitars,James Pusey-guitars,Dan Drury-bass and Noel Joyce-drums.
